ThreatLocker Raises $190 Million to Expand Zero-Trust, AI Security
ThreatLocker is a Florida-based cybersecurity company built around a zero-trust model: define permitted behavior and block everything else by default across endpoints, networks and cloud systems. That approach is gaining relevance as agentic tools such as Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI Codex can execute commands, modify files and connect to external services through Model Context Protocol, or MCP, servers, creating a new layer of access-control risk for corporate technology teams.
ThreatLocker said on July 29, 2026, it raised $190 million in a Series F round led by Elephant, with backing from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Arthur Ventures and Koch Disruptive Technologies. The company plans to fund AI-risk controls, upgrades to its Zero Trust Platform and international expansion, starting with a new office in Reading, England. The financing brings total capital raised to nearly $500 million; ThreatLocker says its products serve more than 70,000 organizations worldwide.
