Ethereum Accumulation Wallets Grow 30%, Bolstering Confidence in Price Recovery

2 reports · First detected 2026-03-13 · Last active 2026-03-13

Ethereum “accumulation wallets” generally refer to wallets that steadily receive ETH for long-term holding and rarely sell. Changes in their balances can serve as a gauge of holder confidence. Even as ETH prices declined in 2026, both accumulation and staking increased, suggesting investors are placing greater emphasis on long-term returns while reducing the token's liquid supply.

Since January 2026, growth in Ethereum accumulation-wallet balances has accelerated to 32%–33%, up from about 30% in earlier reports. Over the same period, total Ethereum staking reached a record 37.85 million ETH, equivalent to more than 30% of the overall supply. Active addresses also increased significantly, prompting the market to watch whether ETH can recover to $3,000.
