TWSE, Wiwynn Tout Valuation Premium for Taiwan’s AI Supply-Chain Ecosystem in Bloomberg Interview
Taiwan has a complete supply chain spanning semiconductor foundries, advanced packaging and AI server-system assembly, creating a full-stack industrial cluster rarely seen elsewhere in Asia. The Taiwan Stock Exchange says close collaboration among companies and high market liquidity allow international investors to value Taiwan-listed shares as an integrated ecosystem rather than as individual businesses. The market also supports companies’ cross-border financing and global expansion.
On May 29, 2026, TWSE Chairman Sherman Lin and Wiwynn Chair and Chief Strategy Officer Emily Hong discussed the concept of an “ecosystem valuation premium” in an interview with Bloomberg. As of May 25, Taiwan’s stock market capitalization stood at $4.95 trillion, surpassing India’s $4.92 trillion and making it the world’s fifth-largest equity market. The TWSE separately reported that technology companies accounted for 81.44% of Taiwan’s market capitalization on April 30.
