Crypto Investor Jeffrey Huang Joins Shark Tank Taiwan
Shark Tank gives entrepreneurs a chance to pitch businesses directly to investors in exchange for equity funding. The Taiwan edition, produced by Videoland Television Network with Sony Pictures Television under an official license, brings the global franchise’s deal-making format to the island’s startup market. Jeffrey Huang, widely known as Machi Big Brother, has worked across entertainment, livestreaming, film investment and Web3, making him the show’s first investor with a prominent cryptocurrency background.
Videoland unveiled the five-member Shark Tank Taiwan panel on May 18, 2026. Huang will appear alongside Taiwan Mobile President Jamie Lin, Hotung Venture Capital executive Liu I-cheng, Relove co-founder Ku Wan-chen and Headline Asia founding partner Akio Tanaka. The program was still conducting nationwide auditions when the lineup was announced, with filming and broadcast planned for the second half of 2026. No individual investment commitments or funding amounts had been disclosed.
