Fiserv Hires JPMorgan Executive Adam Hyde to Lead Merchant Operations

Fiserv is a global payments and financial technology provider whose merchant solutions span acquiring, digital commerce, mobile payments, cybersecurity and fraud prevention, point-of-sale systems and Pay by Bank. The appointment of a senior executive with a banking and payments background reflects the company’s effort to improve the efficiency of its global merchant services and enhance the customer experience through a management reshuffle.

Fiserv announced on April 8, 2026, that it had appointed Adam Hyde, a 24-year JPMorganChase veteran, as chief operating officer of Merchant Solutions. Hyde led global payments client service for six years and spent the most recent year overseeing global human resources operations. The personnel appointment did not involve a transaction value.
