UiPath Launches UiPath for Coding Agents to Bring AI-Generated Automation Under Enterprise Governance

As companies adopt AI coding agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, automations generated outside established development pipelines can create gaps in access controls, cybersecurity and auditing. UiPath is therefore bringing agent-generated work back into its enterprise automation platform, allowing departments to retain their choice of tools while maintaining consistent governance standards.

UiPath launched UiPath for Coding Agents on May 12, 2026, making it available to enterprise customers with initial support for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. The platform covers creation, testing, deployment and governance, with built-in policy enforcement, audit trails, credential storage and role-based access controls. Integrations with other agents are expected later in 2026. No related financial terms were disclosed.
