Several clips circulated on social media recently showing what appears to be a Unitree humanoid kneeling and repeatedly bowing on a street in China while dressed as a beggar. Unitree and local authorities have not publicly confirmed the organizer, filming date or location, leaving the footage’s context unverified. Online users have widely interpreted the scene as a promotional stunt, staged content or satirical art, while using it to debate robot commercialization and employment risks.
