Sotheby’s auction of a classic Tom Ford jacket bearing his autograph combines the tech celebrity’s influence with charitable fundraising and reflects strong demand for collectibles associated with technology leaders.

Sotheby’s will hold the charity auction on July 17, with Huang’s signature black leather jacket estimated at $40,000–$60,000. All proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit The Edge Institute to fund scholarships and residency programs for the next generation of technology and science founders.
