Paystand Launches USDb Enterprise Stablecoin on Bitcoin-Aligned Infrastructure
Blockchain-based business payments company Paystand is targeting the roughly $100 trillion global B2B market. Corporate accounts receivable, payroll and cross-border payments are often constrained by banking hours, interbank settlement and manual reconciliation. USDb is therefore positioned as a dollar settlement tool connecting the Bitcoin ecosystem with automated corporate finance.
Paystand recently announced the launch of USDb, which is pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar and uses Bitcoin-related infrastructure including Rootstock. USDb will initially be integrated into the Paystand payment network for accounts receivable, payroll and cross-border payments. The company has yet to disclose an exact launch date, the size of its reserves or a timetable for third-party audits.
