Fubon Financial Units Roll Out Targeted Anti-Fraud Measures
Financial scams increasingly exploit differences in language, age, occupation and investment experience, limiting the effectiveness of one-size-fits-all public campaigns. Fubon Financial Holding is coordinating its life insurance, banking, property and casualty insurance, and securities subsidiaries to tailor fraud-prevention education to distinct customer groups, using their regular financial-service touchpoints to strengthen awareness and improve consumers’ ability to identify suspicious activity.
The group’s latest measures target military personnel, new immigrants, families with children and investors. Fubon units are deploying multilingual financial toolkits, technology-based anti-fraud tools and partnerships with outside organizations to address barriers including limited language access, gaps in household financial education and investment scams. The initiative is designed to broaden the reach and practical value of fraud warnings across the subsidiaries’ customer bases.
