Pepperstone Hires Xero Executive Nigel Fernandes as CTO

Pepperstone has appointed Nigel Fernandes as its new chief technology officer, with Fernandes due to formally take up the role in October. He joins from cloud accounting platform Xero, where he served as senior vice president of engineering and executive general manager. The move brings an executive with experience overseeing fintech engineering operations and product teams into Pepperstone’s senior leadership.
