ReCo Upgrades Cloud Payments Platform for US Municipalities

US municipalities often rely on fragmented, aging systems to collect taxes, service fees and other public payments, complicating reconciliation across departments and creating friction for residents. Fintech provider ReCo is positioning its cloud-based ReCo Anywhere platform as a way for local governments to consolidate payment channels, modernize back-office operations and offer a more streamlined digital checkout experience.

ReCo recently announced an upgraded ReCo Anywhere platform featuring a single transaction checkout across municipal departments, automated payments and support for multiple accounts. The release also adds stronger security controls and expanded financial-report export capabilities. As of Aug. 3, 2026, ReCo had not disclosed the investment value, customer count, participating municipalities or a detailed deployment timetable for the upgraded service.
