Taiwan Cooperative Bank-Led NT$12 Billion Loan for Supreme Electronics Oversubscribed
Supreme Electronics, one of Taiwan’s leading electronic-component distributors, has long served as a distributor of Samsung Electronics products. Rapid growth in emerging technologies including AI, 5G and automotive semiconductors has sharply increased funding needs across the supply chain. The syndicated loan will help Supreme Electronics optimize its financial structure and provide strong financial backing for an accelerated expansion into global markets for high-end semiconductor applications.
Taiwan Cooperative Bank and Supreme Electronics formally signed the NT$12 billion syndicated credit facility on July 15, 2026. The agreement was signed by Taiwan Cooperative Bank President Wang Shu-fang and Supreme Electronics Chairman Eric Ko, with support from lenders including First Bank and Hua Nan Bank. Strong demand from financial institutions pushed subscriptions to 1.95 times the original amount. The proceeds will be used to repay existing debt and bolster working capital.
