WLFI Expands USD1 Payments With Fee-Free MoonPay Funding and Instant Zebec Payroll
World Liberty Financial unveiled its U.S. dollar stablecoin USD1 on March 25, 2025. The token is fully backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries, dollar deposits and cash equivalents and pegged 1:1 to the dollar. Its market capitalization surpassed $3.3 billion in less than a year. The latest expansion beyond trading and stored value into fiat funding and corporate payroll will help determine whether USD1 can generate real-world payment demand.
On April 1, 2026, WLFI said MoonPay Agents would offer fee-free USD1 funding worldwide through credit cards, bank transfers and other channels, allowing users who deposit $100 to receive $100 in USD1. The service currently supports Ethereum and BNB Chain. The Zebec SuperApp added USD1 the same day, offering real-time streamed payroll, one-click batch transfers, token-vesting schedules, and management interfaces for employers and workers.
