Law Enforcement Freezes $41 Million Tied to BG Wealth Sharing Crypto Ponzi Scheme
BG Wealth Sharing had solicited investors since 2025 with cryptocurrency trading guidance and promises of “daily profit opportunities,” promoting the scheme on social media and operating through the fake DSJ Exchange trading platform. Onchain data indicates that thousands of victims lost at least $150 million, highlighting the fraud risks posed by promises of high returns and cryptocurrency fund flows.
On May 6, 2026, onchain investigator ZachXBT disclosed that people linked to the scheme had attempted to launder more than $92 million in crypto assets between April 27 and May 3. Tether froze $38.4 million in USDT on TRON on May 4, while Binance, OKX and others froze about $3.1 million, bringing the total to $41.5 million. U.S. law enforcement also seized the BG Wealth Sharing domain.
