2 reports · First detected 2026-03-24 · Last active 2026-05-20

After completing its merger with Asia Pacific Telecom at the end of 2023, Far EasTone Telecommunications adopted a three-stage plan: build the foundation in year one, deliver results in year two and take off in year three. It sees 2026 as the pivotal year for turning integration synergies into new growth. With its core telecom business mature, the company is expanding beyond traditional connectivity into digital payments, smart cities and enterprise information and communications technology. It is also integrating AI into its processes and commercial offerings to improve efficiency and generate non-telecom revenue.

At its annual shareholders’ meeting on May 20, 2026, Far EasTone reported 2025 consolidated revenue of NT$110.346 billion, EBITDA of NT$38.080 billion and net profit after tax of NT$13.732 billion, up 5.5%, 4.9% and 6.9%, respectively. EPS and the cash dividend both reached record highs of NT$3.81. The company plans to amplify group synergies, expand its service portfolio and capture greater benefits from AI, while investing in low-Earth-orbit satellites as it advances through its 2026 takeoff year.
