Google DeepMind Staff Gain Access to Claude, Sparking Internal Dispute Over Unequal AI Tools

Google DeepMind is Google's core AI research organization and develops models including Gemini. Some of its teams are allowed to use rival Anthropic's Claude for coding, while most Google engineers still primarily use Gemini.
