SBI Backs Uniblock to Streamline Access to 300-Plus Blockchains

1 reports · First detected 2026-04-02 · Last active 2026-04-02

SBI Holdings, one of Japan’s largest financial groups, has been expanding its exposure to digital assets through dedicated investment vehicles. Uniblock offers Web3 infrastructure designed to give developers access to multiple blockchain networks through a single API, reducing the need to maintain separate integrations. The model targets fragmentation across the blockchain ecosystem, a persistent obstacle to building and scaling cross-chain applications.

SBI Holdings has announced an investment in Uniblock through its digital-asset fund, backing the startup’s effort to broaden its blockchain data and developer services. Uniblock says its unified API connects to more than 300 blockchains. The companies did not disclose the exact investment date, transaction value or equity stake, leaving the financial size and terms of the deal unspecified.
