iPipeline Completes Origo Acquisition After UK Approval
iPipeline provides digital technology for life insurance and financial services, while Origo supplies secure connectivity linking UK providers, advisers and platforms. The combination broadens iPipeline’s reach in Britain’s wealth and retirement markets as financial firms seek to replace fragmented systems and manual workflows. Origo’s pension-transfer and information-exchange infrastructure adds an established connectivity layer to iPipeline’s existing automation capabilities.
iPipeline said on Sept. 1, 2026, that it completed the acquisition after receiving all required regulatory clearances, including approval from the UK Competition and Markets Authority. Financial terms were not disclosed. Origo’s Transfer Service handled 1.5 million transfers involving more than £66 billion of customer assets in 2024. Existing services will remain available during the integration, while the Origo and Unipass brands will continue operating as part of iPipeline.
