Lucie Money Taps Fiskil to Power Conversational AI With Open Banking Data
Australia’s Consumer Data Right, or CDR, underpins the country’s open-banking regime by allowing consumers to authorise accredited providers to access financial data securely. Sydney-based fintech Lucie Money is seeking to use that framework to make its conversational financial AI agent more responsive to a user’s actual circumstances, moving beyond generic prompts toward services informed by permissioned account and transaction data.
Lucie Money said it will connect to the CDR ecosystem through Fiskil’s open-banking infrastructure, which will supply core financial data for the company’s conversational AI agent. The companies did not disclose the value of the agreement, a launch date or the number of financial institutions supported. Adoption will depend on the breadth and reliability of Fiskil’s data connections, as well as consumer consent, privacy safeguards and Lucie Money’s ability to turn banking records into useful financial guidance.
