10 Open-Source No-Code AI Platforms for Building LLMs and AI Agents
As enterprise demand for AI applications surges, the technical barriers to developing large language models and AI agents are rapidly falling. Open-source no-code platforms are removing programming hurdles that once put such work beyond the reach of non-engineers. Their intuitive visual canvases and support for self-hosting allow developers to prototype quickly while retaining full control over their data, offering strategic value for enterprise privacy, security and agile development.
A technology publication on July 18, 2026, highlighted 10 leading open-source no-code AI platforms, including Dify and n8n. Academic research projects drew particular attention, among them AutoAgent, released in early 2025 by the University of Hong Kong's Data Intelligence Lab. These platforms allow users to deploy complex workflows directly through natural-language instructions, giving developers new tools for building retrieval-augmented generation systems and AI agents.
