Bybit Launches Bybit AI Skills for AI-Native Crypto Trading
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has packaged its trading APIs into “Bybit AI Skills,” allowing users to execute operations through natural-language commands in AI assistants such as ChatGPT. The product lowers technical barriers to spot and derivatives strategies while avoiding direct exposure of API keys to AI systems, balancing convenience with account security.
As of July 20, 2026, Bybit had launched the AI agent toolkit with no manual installation required. It supports more than 250 API operations, spanning spot and derivatives trading as well as complex strategies. The launch did not involve fundraising or investment; the key development is the integration of queries, order placement and strategy execution into a conversational AI interface.

Cryptocurrency trading has traditionally been conducted manually or through programmable APIs. Binance, OKX and Bitget Wallet are now integrating AI Skills and the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, enabling AI agents such as OpenClaw and Claude Code to read onchain data, analyze smart contracts and issue trading instructions. The shift makes AI a new type of market participant while intensifying concerns over authorization and asset security.
As of July 19, 2026, OKX, Bitget Wallet and Binance had each announced support for AI Skills or MCP, while related evaluations had expanded to six major exchanges. AI agents can currently scan markets, query onchain data, inspect contracts and place orders.
