Founded in 2019 and based in Metzingen, Germany, NEURA Robotics focuses on humanoid and cognitive robots and a Physical AI platform. Tether’s move into robotics centers on bringing stablecoin payments, self-custody wallets and on-device AI into physical machines, potentially shaping the development of autonomous machine transactions and data privacy.

Tether Investments said on June 10, 2026, that it was leading NEURA Robotics’ Series C round of up to $1.4 billion, with participation from NVIDIA, Amazon and Qualcomm Technologies, among others. Reports put the company’s valuation at about $7 billion. The partnership will integrate the open-source WDK and QVAC edge AI, enabling robots to receive payments through self-custody and process data on-device. The funding will also support expanded mass production by 2030.
