OwlPay Partners With Credible Finance to Expand Stablecoin Payments to China and India

OwlPay Harbor, part of the OBOOK Group, provides cross-border payment infrastructure for businesses, using stablecoins to connect fiat collections, payments and settlement. Its partnership with U.S. payments platform Credible Finance focuses on compliant integration with Asian markets, reducing the time and intermediary costs associated with traditional cross-border transfers and making commercial payments to China and India more accessible.

The partners will first open a cross-border corridor for settling payments into China before expanding to India. OwlPay Harbor said its stablecoin payment volume has doubled for several consecutive months. However, reports did not disclose the signing date, formal launch date, partnership value or the baseline payment volume. Fees, settlement times and the timetable for the India corridor also remain undisclosed.
