Real Estate Mogul Grant Cardone Adds $100 Million in Bitcoin, Advances Hybrid Investment Model
Grant Cardone is incorporating Bitcoin into a real estate investment structure that uses steady cash flow from rental properties to keep buying BTC while retaining exposure to potential price gains. The model seeks to challenge traditional real estate investment trusts, or REITs, by giving investors exposure to the returns and risks of both property and crypto assets.
Cardone announced at the 2026 Consensus Miami conference that he had allocated $100 million to Bitcoin as part of a real estate transaction worth $235 million, adding BTC to his treasury holdings. He said he would continue using real estate cash flow to buy Bitcoin and argued that the hybrid strategy could outperform REITs over the long term.

As of July 20, 2026, Cardone said Cardone Capital plans to tokenize a real estate investment portfolio worth $5 billion. The company has not disclosed a launch date, the blockchain it will use or the issuance structure. The plan extends its recent strategy of buying Bitcoin and expanding into digital assets.
