Jensen Huang Says AI Is Entering Agentic Era as Nvidia Unveils Vera Rubin Platform
Generative AI is evolving from responding to prompts toward agentic AI systems that can plan, invoke tools and execute tasks independently. Companies therefore need integrated chips, networking and software. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is positioning the company as an AI infrastructure provider that helps enterprises and cloud operators build “AI factories,” with implications for data-center investment and Taiwan’s supply chain.
Speaking at COMPUTEX in Taipei on June 1, 2026, Huang said the Vera Rubin platform was expected to ship in the second half of 2026. It integrates the Vera CPU, Rubin GPU, NVLink 6 and an enterprise-grade agent toolkit. He also urged partners including Quanta to accelerate mass production. Nvidia did not disclose any investment or procurement amounts related to the platform.
