Bitget CFD Daily Volume Tops $10 Billion After Zero-Fee Launch
Bitget has expanded its cryptocurrency exchange business into contracts for difference, or CFDs, allowing users to trade assets including foreign currencies, gold and U.S. stock indexes. CFDs settle on price differences and often involve leverage, making trading costs and liquidity critical to strategy. The new pricing model and trading volume have therefore drawn market attention.
Bitget said it has formally introduced a commission-free “zero-fee” model for CFDs, with users able to switch freely between ECN and zero-fee accounts. Driven by demand for multiple asset classes, single-day trading volume exceeded $10 billion. The announcement did not provide a specific launch date or disclose the date and methodology used to calculate the volume.
