Trading Technologies Appoints Sal Lombardi as CFO
Trading Technologies International (TT), owned by Thoma Bravo and 7RIDGE, supplies technology supporting end-to-end trading operations for banks, brokerages, asset managers and proprietary trading firms. Its SaaS ecosystem spans futures, options, fixed income, foreign exchange and cryptocurrencies, alongside data analytics, trade surveillance, clearing and post-trade allocation. The CFO appointment matters as TT broadens its asset-class coverage and product suite, putting financial discipline, strategic investment and execution at the center of its next phase of growth.
TT said on Aug. 10, 2026, that it appointed Sal Lombardi as chief financial officer. Lombardi brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience across fintech, enterprise software and logistics technology. He most recently served as CFO of Auctane, now operating as ShipStation Global, after earlier holding the same post at C1. He also spent 20 years in senior leadership roles at cxLoyalty. CEO Justin Llewellyn-Jones said Lombardi would support TT’s expansion into new asset classes and solutions. The company disclosed no compensation or transaction value.
