Moody’s Partners With Anthropic to Integrate AI Agents Into Claude

Moody’s has long provided credit ratings, research and compliance-risk data, with an intelligence framework covering more than 600 million entities and 2 billion ownership relationships. Its partnership with Anthropic will allow financial institutions to conduct credit and compliance analysis directly within Claude while preserving source attribution, explainability and audit trails to meet regulatory requirements.

Moody’s and Anthropic announced on April 9, 2026, that Moody’s Agentic Solutions would be integrated natively into Claude Desktop, Claude.ai and Claude Enterprise through a dedicated Model Context Protocol application. The services cover credit memos, peer comparisons, sanctions checks and adverse-media screening. The companies did not disclose the value of the partnership.
