Land Bank of Taiwan Opens Branch to Tap Taipei AI Hub
Taipei’s Beitou-Shilin Technology Park is being developed as a hub for artificial intelligence and digital industries, creating potential demand for land development loans, construction financing, working capital and cross-border banking. Land Bank of Taiwan is positioning its property-finance expertise near the emerging cluster, seeking to serve technology companies as well as businesses and residents in the surrounding area.
Land Bank of Taiwan formally opened its Beitou-Shilin Technology Park branch on Aug. 10, 2026. The branch will offer an integrated property-finance service spanning land acquisition, construction and corporate funding, while linking customers to the bank’s single-service platform and mobile banking products. The state-owned lender did not disclose the branch’s investment cost or set a specific financing target.
