Legal AI Startup Manifest Raises $60 Million in Series A Funding
Manifest OS provides an AI-native platform for the Manifest Law-branded law firm, covering client communications, legal research, document drafting, billing and back-office operations. It replaces hourly billing with fixed-fee or outcome-based pricing, directly challenging the traditional law firm revenue model and reflecting legal AI's shift from standalone tools to comprehensive service platforms.
Manifest OS announced on April 28, 2026, that it had raised $60 million in a Series A round led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, First Round Capital and Quiet Capital. The round valued the company at $750 million post-money and, according to the company, was the largest Series A in legal technology history. Its first law firm has handled more than 3,000 matters in 18 months of operation.
