Creditspring Secures FCA Permission to Broaden Responsible Credit Access
Creditspring is a UK subscription-based credit provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Members pay a fixed monthly fee for access to short-term, interest-free advances under defined repayment terms, an approach designed to make borrowing costs more predictable. The model targets consumers who may struggle to obtain mainstream finance, making the company’s expansion significant as British households seek alternatives to high-cost or illegal lending.
Creditspring said on Aug. 13, 2026, that it had secured FCA credit broking permission, allowing it to refer eligible members to a selected range of third-party credit products. The approval broadens its offering beyond credit provided directly through its subscription model. Creditspring says its community now exceeds 400,000 members; the company previously reported more than £600 million of cumulative lending and over 300,000 active UK members.
