Binance.US Cuts Spot Trading Fees to Near Zero in Market-Share Push
Binance.US is a U.S. cryptocurrency trading platform operated independently of global exchange Binance. In 2023, Binance reached a $4.3 billion settlement with U.S. authorities over anti-money-laundering and sanctions violations. As Coinbase, Kraken and Charles Schwab expand their presence, lowering trading costs has become a key part of Binance.US’s strategy to gain market share.
On April 22, 2026, Binance.US announced an immediate fee overhaul for all spot trading pairs, cutting maker fees to 0% and taker fees to 0.02%, with no trading-volume, asset-holding or subscription requirements. The new system replaces its previous tiered pricing. The platform said users could save as much as 98% compared with Coinbase, whose rates for low-volume users are about 0.40%–0.60%, while Kraken charges about 0.25%–0.40%.
