Google Pixel Buds 2a Drop to $99 With Gemini AI
Google introduced the Pixel Buds 2a on Aug. 20, 2025, as the successor to the Pixel Buds A-Series launched in 2021. The earbuds brought Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode to Google’s lower-priced A-Series for the first time. Integration with Gemini also allows users of compatible Android devices to access the AI assistant hands-free, strengthening Google’s effort to extend its mobile ecosystem beyond smartphones.
Amazon cut the Pixel Buds 2a price to $99 from $129 in a promotion reported on June 23, 2026. The $30 reduction represents a discount of about 23% and puts the earbuds below the $100 threshold. Buyers retain access to Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode and hands-free Gemini features, although the promotional price may change when inventory runs out or the limited-time offer ends.
