TerraPay, Deutsche Bank Partner to Expand Global Payment Network
TerraPay, a global money-movement company, provides infrastructure that helps financial institutions and payment providers transfer funds across markets. Cross-border payments often depend on multiple intermediaries, creating friction in settlement speed, reach and reliability. Access to a major lender’s correspondent banking network can therefore help a payment platform broaden its coverage while strengthening the infrastructure used to move money internationally.
TerraPay said it has partnered with Deutsche Bank to expand global payment connectivity by tapping the German lender’s correspondent banking network, technology and product capabilities. The companies aim to make international fund transfers more efficient and reliable as TerraPay extends its network. Neither party disclosed the value of the agreement, the number of markets covered, a launch date or projected transaction volumes.

The history behind this eventTerraPay, TPBank Partner on Real-Time Cross-Border Payments
Cross-border transfers often involve multiple intermediaries, creating delays and friction for consumers and businesses moving money between markets. Global payments infrastructure company TerraPay is partnering with Vietnam’s TPBank to connect international payment capabilities with local banking services, a move aimed at improving the speed of fund flows and supporting greater interoperability across Southeast Asia’s expanding digital-finance ecosystem.
TerraPay and TPBank have announced plans to introduce a real-time cross-border payment solution designed to accelerate international remittances and settlement for customers. The announcement did not disclose a launch date, investment amount, transaction pricing or the initial markets and currencies to be covered. Further details on availability, transfer limits and the scope of the service are expected from the companies as implementation progresses.
TPBank Taps TerraPay for Real-Time Global Payments
Vietnam’s rapid shift toward cashless banking is raising expectations that international transfers should match the speed and simplicity of domestic digital payments. TPBank, one of the country’s digitally focused banks, is partnering with global money-movement company TerraPay to broaden outbound payment options without building separate bilateral links in each market or making heavy technology investments. The deal gives the lender a faster route to international bank-account and digital-wallet payouts.
The partnership was announced on July 21, 2026, with financial terms not disclosed. TPBank will use its existing Swift connectivity to access TerraPay’s network, which reaches bank accounts and wallets in more than 156 countries and territories, serving individuals and businesses sending money overseas. Vietnam logged 17.7 billion non-cash transactions in 2024, up 56% from a year earlier, while nearly 18 billion were recorded in the first nine months of 2025. The collaboration was notified to the State Bank of Vietnam.
