Qisda’s WiXtar and Liou Shan Men Showcase Agentic AI Applications for Restaurants

1 reports · First detected 2026-06-03 · Last active 2026-06-03

Taiwan’s hot-pot market generates about NT$40 billion in annual revenue but has long faced high vacancy rates, staff turnover and difficulties transferring management expertise. WiXtar, Qisda’s restaurant technology brand, has partnered with the Liou Shan Men hot-pot chain to deploy Agentic AI capable of independently analyzing information and executing tasks. The system links front-of-house and back-of-house operations with headquarters decision-making, reducing the chain’s reliance on the experience of veteran store managers.

On June 3, 2026, WiXtar announced that it was showcasing the “world’s first AI hot-pot restaurant” at COMPUTEX 2026. From June 2 to 5 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, it presented a 24-hour AI store manager covering four applications: store inspections, self-service ordering, a decision-making platform, and purchasing and receiving. WiXtar also said its data platform accounts for about 12% of Taiwan’s restaurant point-of-sale transactions and that the model could be expanded to more than 47,000 chain outlets.
