Brazil's PicPay has expanded beyond its digital wallet into credit cards, loans, investments and insurance, and listed on Nasdaq under the ticker “PICS” on January 29, 2026. Cross-selling financial services has increased revenue per customer, while AI has become an important tool for controlling customer-service costs and maintaining profitability as the company expands its user base.

PicPay released its first results since the listing on March 18. Total revenue exceeded 10 billion Brazilian reais in 2025, up 85% year on year, while adjusted net income nearly doubled to 502 million reais. Fourth-quarter revenue was 3 billion reais. CEO Eduardo Chedid said the company accelerated AI adoption after ChatGPT's launch and fully automated frontline customer service about two years ago, allowing it to avoid hiring nearly 3,000 customer-service employees over two years.
