OSL Group Formally Joins Mastercard Crypto Partner Program to Advance Stablecoin Payments
Mastercard launched the Mastercard Crypto Partner Program (MCPP) on March 11, 2026, bringing together crypto-native companies, payment platforms and financial institutions to connect on-chain assets with existing card networks and global commerce. The program focuses on cross-border remittances, corporate payments and settlement, seeking to transform stablecoins from a trading tool into regulated, scalable financial infrastructure.
On May 8, 2026, Hong Kong-listed OSL Group (HKEX: 863) announced that it had formally joined MCPP. It will combine its institutional-grade stablecoin payment solutions with Mastercard's global partner network, initially exploring cross-border B2B, real-time and programmable payments. Mastercard said in a March 27 update that the program had attracted more than 100 partners. Neither side has disclosed an investment or partnership value or provided a timetable for commercial launch.
