Bitget Launches Unified Account Allowing Tokenized US Stocks as Margin

2 reports · First detected 2026-07-21 · Last active 2026-07-21

Bitget has introduced a cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, designed to consolidate collateral that would otherwise be split across spot, derivatives, margin and lending products. The framework brings cryptocurrencies, tokenized US equities known as rTokens, and real-world assets into one account. The move is significant because tokenized securities can now serve as margin or loan collateral, expanding their utility beyond trading and potentially improving capital efficiency for users.

The crypto exchange said its UTA supports more than 370 assets in a shared margin pool, including 100 tokenized US stocks. Users can deploy the assets for derivatives trading, leveraged positions and collateralized borrowing without maintaining separate pools of capital for each product. As of July 21, 2026, Bitget described the service as the industry’s first cross-asset unified account, though the announcement did not disclose monetary figures for deposits, trading volume or borrowing limits.
