Indico Data Partners With HDI Global US to Streamline Underwriting

Indico Data, an insurance-focused process orchestration platform, uses artificial intelligence to extract information from unstructured documents and route it through underwriting workflows. Its partnership with commercial insurer HDI Global US supports the carrier’s Xcelerate29 transformation strategy, aimed at modernizing operations and improving how complex submissions are handled. The project is significant because commercial casualty underwriting often depends on labor-intensive review of fragmented documents and data.

The companies will initially focus on intake and workflow processes for HDI Global US’s U.S. casualty underwriting operations. Indico Data’s AI and data technology will organize submission information, improve data accuracy and help underwriters process complex policies more efficiently. The announcement did not disclose a contract value, deployment date or quantified productivity target, leaving the scale and financial impact of the initiative to be assessed as implementation progresses.
