3 reports · First detected 2026-06-22 · Last active 2026-06-22

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has launched Stock+ to bridge digital assets and traditional securities markets. Users can convert cryptocurrencies into USDC to buy whole or fractional shares of U.S. stocks. Trades are settled through a U.S.-regulated broker, giving investors beneficial ownership of the shares and dividend rights.

Bitget said Stock+ supports more than 10,000 real U.S. stocks and ETFs, with purchases funded directly in USDC. The announcement did not specify an exact launch date, minimum investment or brokerage partner. Residents of some countries and regions cannot access the service because of local securities and crypto-asset regulations.

The Backstory

The history behind this event
Bitget Launches Crypto Industry’s First U.S. Stock Options Service2026-07-03 · 2 reports · similarity 0.84

Bitget, a platform offering both cryptocurrency and contracts-for-difference (CFD) trading, is expanding into U.S. stock options in what it describes as an industry first for a crypto platform. Options provide exposure to share-price movements through a relatively low premium and can also be used to manage risk, reflecting exchanges’ accelerating efforts to connect traditional securities with digital-asset markets.

Bitget announced the launch of its U.S. stock options trading service, initially focusing on single-leg long strategies that allow users to buy calls or puts directly. Multi-leg combinations are not yet included. The announcement did not disclose a specific launch date, the number of supported underlyings, the minimum trade size or fees. The regions where the service will be available and the applicable regulatory arrangements remain to be seen.

Binance Expands Into Stock Trading, Lets Users Buy U.S. Shares and ETFs With USDC and Other Crypto Assets2026-07-02 · 5 reports · similarity 0.82

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding into traditional finance by allowing eligible users to invest in U.S. stocks and ETFs through their existing accounts. The move lowers barriers to shifting crypto assets into securities and gives Binance two parallel product lines: trading in actual shares and bStocks tokenized securities.

Binance’s new stock-trading service offers more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, with a minimum investment of $5, and supports orders funded with crypto assets including USDC and BNB. The platform also plans to launch a fully paid securities lending service (FPSL) in June, allowing users to lend their holdings and earn income.

Bitget Launches Stocks 2.0 With Direct Links to Tokenized Equities and U.S. Market Liquidity2026-06-02 · 1 reports · similarity 0.83

Tokenized stocks are a real-world asset application that uses blockchain tokens to represent the price and economic rights of traditional shares, giving crypto users exposure to U.S. equities without leaving an exchange. Bitget connects this model to Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange liquidity, shortening the trading path between crypto assets and traditional securities markets. Holders’ rights, however, remain subject to the product terms.

Bitget announced the launch of Stocks 2.0 on June 4, 2026, and said on June 5 that the service supported more than 500 U.S. stocks and ETFs, with assets under management exceeding $50 million. The product maps the economic value of each underlying share on a 1:1 basis and trades in USDT. Cash dividends can be converted into USDT and credited to accounts, while stock splits and reverse splits are reflected in token balances.
