Union Bank of Taiwan, Visa Launch Taiwan’s First Chiikawa Co-Branded Credit Card
Union Bank of Taiwan has partnered with Visa to launch Taiwan’s first Chiikawa co-branded credit card, building on its existing Lai Dian Visa card and combining the popular characters with a theme tied to an upcoming film. The move reflects banks’ continued use of intellectual-property partnerships and mobile-payment rewards to attract younger customers and encourage greater card use.
Union Bank of Taiwan recently unveiled the co-branding program for its Lai Dian Visa card. Cardholders can earn rewards on domestic and overseas purchases, with bonus offers of up to 11%–30% at designated merchants when using digital payment tools including LINE Pay and iPASS. The campaign also includes film-themed benefits, but available information does not disclose the exact release date or the validity periods for each reward offer.
