Trustpilot Seeks E-Commerce Partnerships to Bring Review Data Into AI Agent Shopping
Trustpilot has amassed extensive consumer review data on merchants and products. Chief Executive Adrian Blair believes trusted reviews will become a key gauge of product quality and merchant credibility as AI agents search, compare and place orders on users’ behalf, giving review platforms an opportunity to enter the automated shopping supply chain.
Trustpilot is actively seeking partnerships with major e-commerce platforms to integrate its review data into the AI agent shopping ecosystem. The company said referral traffic from large language models, or LLMs, has increased sharply and expects AI applications to significantly boost profit margins by 2030. It has not disclosed prospective partners, deal values or the size of the increase in referral traffic.
