ETHTaipei 2026 Adds Institutional Finance Track for September Event
ETHTaipei, Taiwan’s annual Ethereum developer conference, has become a forum linking the island’s blockchain community with international protocol teams. Its expanded focus on banks and financial institutions comes as traditional finance explores decentralized finance, real-world asset tokenization and digital-asset custody. The new institutional track underscores how Ethereum-based finance is moving beyond developer experimentation toward regulated products and broader adoption.
ETHTaipei 2026 will take place in Taipei on Sept. 13-14, adopting a two-day program for the first time and adding a dedicated session for banks and other financial institutions. The agenda will cover Ethereum’s core protocol, DeFi, real-world asset tokenization and institutional custody. The first announced participants include prediction-market platform Polymarket, decentralized exchange protocol Uniswap and Taiwan’s Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holding.
