First Bank Launches AI Valuation Platform to Accelerate Analysis
First Bank is extending its digital transformation into valuation work, using generative artificial intelligence to streamline a process that traditionally requires substantial data collection, analysis and manual review. Valuations play an important role in a financial institution’s risk assessment and lending decisions. A standardized AI-assisted workflow could help the Taiwan-based bank produce more consistent and accurate results while reducing processing time and operational bottlenecks.
First Bank recently announced a new intelligent AI valuation platform built with cloud computing and Amazon Bedrock, integrating Anthropic’s Claude large language model. The system cuts data-analysis work that previously took several days to just minutes, according to the bank’s announcement. The project marks a shift toward data-driven valuation and is designed to improve efficiency, consistency and precision across the bank’s operations.
