Recurring Investment Accounts for Taiwan Stock ETFs Hit Record as AI Supply Chain Drives Growth
Taiwan stock ETFs have become an important vehicle for investors seeking long-term exposure to large-cap stocks, with Yuanta Securities Investment Trust's Yuanta Taiwan Top 50 ETF (0050) a prominent example. As global capital continues to pour into AI infrastructure, the high technological and capital barriers across Taiwan's semiconductor manufacturing, server and component supply chains are also providing key support for the ETF market's expansion.
The latest data for March showed that the number of recurring investment accounts for Taiwan stock ETFs reached another record high. Monthly contributions to 0050 surpassed NT$10 billion, while the fund's assets exceeded NT$1.5 trillion. KGI Securities Investment Trust's KGI Taiwan TOP 50 ETF (009816) entered the rankings for the first time at No. 11, and institutional investors expect Taiwan to continue benefiting from growing global demand for AI chips and infrastructure.
