JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon Signals Possible Move Into Prediction Markets

4 reports · First detected 2026-04-02 · Last active 2026-06-10

Prediction markets allow investors to trade on the outcomes of events such as elections and economic data releases. The growth of Polymarket and Kalshi has pushed the sector beyond crypto and toward Wall Street. In October 2025, New York Stock Exchange parent Intercontinental Exchange pledged to invest up to $2 billion in Polymarket, underscoring the new competitive and compliance challenges facing banks.

In a CBS interview on March 31, 2026, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said the bank could offer prediction-market services, while excluding sports and political contracts and strictly enforcing rules governing inside information. No investment amount or launch timetable has been announced. Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon also confirmed on January 15 that the bank was evaluating opportunities in the sector.
