Cloud Pathology's AI Digital Pathology System Wins EU Certification Ahead of Mid-May Listing

Cloud Pathology specializes in using AI and digital imaging technology to help pathology departments modernize. Its aetherSlide system manages pathology images and supports diagnostic workflows. As shortages of pathologists and laboratory staff accelerate the adoption of digital pathology worldwide, EU certification of the product is also critical to the company's ability to expand in North American and European Union markets.

Cloud Pathology said its aetherSlide digital pathology image management system had been certified under the European Union's In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation, or IVDR, clearing a key hurdle for entry into the European market. The company also plans to list on Taiwan's Innovation Board in mid-May at an underwriting price of NT$25 per share. It will continue investing in the digital transformation of pathology departments and its global market expansion.
