Mastercard Names Yasemin Bedir EEMEA President
Mastercard’s Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa business spans 81 markets and is a key arena for the payments group’s expansion in digital commerce, financial inclusion and multi-rail services. Yasemin Bedir joined Mastercard in 2007 and has led its Eastern Europe division since January 2022, overseeing six offices across 12 countries after holding senior roles in Türkiye, Azerbaijan and North America.
Mastercard named Bedir president of EEMEA, succeeding Dimitrios Dosis as part of a broader leadership reshuffle. The company announced the reorganization on June 2, 2026, with the changes taking effect on Aug. 3. Dosis moved into the role of chief commercial payments officer, where he leads Commercial & New Payment Flows, while Bedir assumes responsibility for Mastercard’s strategy and operations across the 81-market region.
