Tradable to Tokenize Up to $1 Billion in Private Credit on Stellar
Tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) has become a major fintech trend, converting traditional financial assets into blockchain-based tokens to improve liquidity and efficiency. Private credit is an important channel for institutional investment, but high entry barriers and cumbersome processes have historically limited participation. Tokenization platform Tradable is bringing private credit onto the blockchain to lower those barriers and use compliance technology to attract more institutional investors to the emerging ecosystem.
Tradable announced in July 2026 that it planned to issue up to $1 billion in tokenized private-credit assets on the Stellar blockchain. The first phase is expected to release $500 million, using the Stellar network to support compliance and asset management while broadening institutional participation in real-world assets. The partnership has formally joined the global rush among institutions to establish a presence in tokenized assets.
